In a few moments, 2008 arrives. Is it a thing to celebrate? Everyone going Countdown Parties..welcoming 2008. People say Christmas was over rated, i say New Year is overdone. But still, 2008, a brand new year, forget the past, embrace the future. Many things have happened in 2007 for me, good or bad things, meeting new people, knowing my friends more, being lost and emo, smiling the whole day, i’ve encountered it all. Hopefully..in the new year, i can acheive my goals..and my dream. here’s my hello, dun say goodbye. Happy 2008.

School is reopening soon, are u excited? Im not sure if i am. Sec 4, O levels- a good thing? Junior College? I dunno. Time flies. Turning 16 on January, NC-16 movies on the way, soon it’ll be M-18, R-21 (dun think will watch this type of shows) Very soon my days at Anglican High will be over..but right now..im going to enjoy every moment of it. And of course, i hope to give my best to Softball next year, my last year, perhaps a year of suprises.,East Zone champions finally? Maybe i can dream of it. Also..i have a little dream..but i dunno if i should do it..i fear it might affect my studies and cca..of course the fear only comes if i can realise my dream first. I’ll see, maybe i’ll just do it..if i’m good enough.

Recently i’ve been writing lyrics. As for the beats and tunes of the songs, i’m trying to inject the styles of the music i listen to-Blake Lewis background beats,Maroon 5’s Pop,Justin Timberlake addictive tunes,Leehom sincerity,Shayne Ward’s touching voice, plus a dash of Rock. All of these combined, it would be the most complete genre ever. Hoping to write one chinese song, although it will be much tougher.

Hady Mirza was crowned the title Asian Idol, against other 5 candidates from Indonesia (Mike Mohede), Malaysia (Jaclyn Victor), Philippines (Mau Marcelo), Vietnam (Phuong Vy), and India (Abhijeet Sawant).
Hady’s winning were given positive comebacks from Singaporean Judge, Ken Lim. Being the owner of Hype Records he exclaimed that whoever wins the competition had to be appreciated. “The winner is Asian too,” Ken Lim said. Hady admits that he didn’t expect to be crowned the first Asian Idol. He is thankful for the support and can only give thanks. “I didn’t expect to win at all. The other contestants are so great. I thank everyone who voted for me,” Hady said sincerely.
That night, the viewers were not only mesmerized by the contestants, but also by the performance of international guest stars, like Taylor Hicks (the winner of American Idol 5). Guy Sebastian, the Australian Idol, even collaborated with Mike Mohede. The diva from India, Alisha Chinai, sang her hits song, Made in India. Rivermaya from the Philippines collaborated with Mau Marcelo with the famous song You’ll Be Safe Here. From Indonesia was Agnes Monica and Peterpan.
