Tough year.

This year is going to pass very quickly. Its only the beginning of the year, yet i feel so tired. I have to say i play lesser computer games nowdays(only on weekends). Weekdays for me is like the same routine, wake up at 5.50am, go to school, reach home at 6-7pm plus. This goes on for 5 days a week, and perhaps the coming months until O levels. Competition for me will perhaps end around May? Maybe. -i wish someone would be there.

I’ll be there to comfort you
Build my world of dreams around you
I’m so glad I found you yeah
I’ll be there with a love so strong
I’ll be your strength
You know I’ll keep holding on

Let me fill your heart with joy and laughter
Togetherness, well it’s all I’m after
Just call my name and
I’ll be there
I’ll be there to protect you
With an unselfish love that respects you
Just call my name
And I’ll be there

Chorus:
I’ll be there to comfort you
Build my world of dreams around you
You know I’m so glad that I found you
I’ll be there with a love so strong
I’ll be your strength
You know I’ll keep holding on

See, if you should ever find someone new
I know she better be good to you
‘Cause if she doesn’t then
I’ll be there

Worst match played.

Today is the first match for the Softball East Zone competitions, before the match and during trainings, we were quite “confident” of winning it. I got to say that the team worked hard, but perhaps…we need to work harder. It proved that we were the minnows of East Zone today. We were hit and thrashed 25-0. Not even a single run was scored by us, and 25 times they ran past the home-plate. Both of our coaches will be definitely disappointed with us, they had so much hope in us, yet we let them down. Mr Lim was upset too, and he said this. “this is the worst match i’ve ever seen since i came back (to softball), the score was 25-0, we have never lost to such a big margin in ages.”. I got to say that we let down the juniors and girls who came to support us. It was embarrasing, losing, thrashed. If we the “seniors” dun even set an example for them to see, what can we ask from them in matches in the future. Personally, i was most disappointed with my batting, one word- disastrous. Maybe we can say we are rusty, we played our last match last year, we can say we are nervous and tensed, yet we cannot deny that we were disastrous today, from pitching-fielding,batting. Enough of all this negative comments, i believe that we can stand up, and win our remaining 2 matches and proceed to the semis, although we will meet Damai, i know that we will put up a fight at least. I was touched by the spirit of the team today, we fought together through all 5 innings, although we lost, we know that we gave in our best. However the main target is still the Nationals. And we will, i will, work towards that.

Goodbye my friend.

Its been 3 years, you have been a great friend to me during this time and i am very grateful and blessed to have a friend like you. I’ll never forget a friend like you. Now, you are leaving us, to go another school, we all respect your decison and hope you’ll enjoy ur one year in that school. Although we may not see each other as often, i know we will still stay in contact, be it Dota, soccer or other things. Maybe we can go to the same JC the next year, :). Wish u all the best in whatever u do. Take care.

School resumed..2 weeks almost passed. Have to wake up so early every morning to go school. Lessons was fun..and yet boring..but nowadays i have to be more in lessons and pay attention. My birthday passed, it was kinda ok. Want to thank everyone who wished me. etc. matty who called to sing “happy birthday” at 12am! hahaha. and the 3h guys who got me a shirt. 🙂 oh and happy birthday to jonathan goh too. 🙂 hmmm..today was also the first training under our new coach, he was very organised, which is what i liked about his style. hope can do better in competitions this year. after training, went to order the new jerseys with hexian, miss z and mr lim. We kinda “gossiped” about things in school, which was fun. Haiz..i would really miss softball and them when i graduate soon. well, going SP with some of the guys- nelson and the gang. wonder if it will be worth the trip..its so far!

***Guy’s point of view

This is very cute!

> And even written by a guy!
> You might agree with it, but
> when it actually happens 99% of girls don’t realize it ’til it is too late
> and that guy who did it is so frustrated that he has moved on to someone who will take notice.
> From a guys point of view:
> We don’t care if you talk to other guys.
> We don’t care if you’re friends with other guys.
> But when you’re sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room
> and you jump up and tackle him without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off.
> It doesn’t help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without
> even acknowledging the fact that we’re still there.
> We don’t care if a guy calls you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned.
> Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can’t wait till he morning.
> Also, when we tell you you’re pretty/beautiful/gorgeous/cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it.
> Don’t tell us we’re wrong. We’ll stop trying to convince you.
> The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence.
> Yeah, you can quote me.
> Don’t be mad when we hold the door open.
> Take Advantage of the mood im in.
> LET US PAY FOR YOU! DON’T ‘FEEL BAD’
> We enjoy doing it.
> It’s expected.
> Smile and say ‘thank you.’
> Kiss us when no one’s watching.
> If you kiss us when you know somebody’s looking, we’ll be more impressed.
> You don’t have to get dressed up for us.
> If we’re going out with you in the first place, you don’t have to feel the
> need to wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of makeup you own.
> We like you for WHO you are and not WHAT you are.
> Honestly, i think a girl looks more beautiful when she’s just in her pj’s.
> Or my t-shirt and boxers, not all dolled up.
> Don’t take everything we say seriously.
> Sarcasm is a beautiful thing.
> See the beauty in it.
> Don’t get angry easily.
> Stop using magazines/media as your bible.
> Don’t talk about how hott Morris Chesnutt, Brad Pitt, or Jesse McCartney is in front of us.
> It’s boring, and we don’t care.
> You have girlfriends for that.
> Whatever happened to the word ‘handsome’/’beautiful’.
> I’d be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me with ‘Hey handsome!’ instead of ‘Hey baby/ stud/ cutie/ sexy’ or whatever else you can think of.
> On the other hand im not sayin i wouldn’t like it either.
> Girls: I cannot stress this enough: IF YOU AREN’T BEING TREATED RIGHT BY A GUY, DON’T WAIT FOR HIM TO CHANGE.> DITCH HIS SORRY DISGRACE-TO-THE-MALE-POPULATION ASS, AND FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL TREAT YOU WITH UTTER RESPECT
> Someone who will honor your morals.
> Someone who will make you smile when you’re at your lowest.
> Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes.
> Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel.
> Someone who will stop what theyre doing just to look you in the eyes….and say ‘i love you’ ……….AND ACTUALLY MEAN IT!

-A random email i found interesting.
